TATE MCRAE - GREEDY

The ridiculously talented Tate McRae is a Canadian pop singer- songwriter. She was born in July of 2003 in Calgary, Canada. You may have heard some of her songs like; Teenage Mind, You Broke Me First, and She’s All I Want To Be. She’s been a growing artist since she went viral on youtube and tik tok. 

This pop track contrasts to some of McRae’s previous tracks. The beat is very catchy and has a soft vibe of ‘I’m too good for you’. She’s making a point in her lyrics of knowing her self worth and not lowering your standards to be with a man. The lines “I would want myself” and “Or how I'm runnin' this room around…” she knows who she is and won’t let a man she just met get with her. 

A genius line that she wrote was “I'll put you through hell, Just to know me, yeah, yeah”. She knows that a man that actually wants her would go through hell and back to get to know who she is as a person. 

This track is the perfect example of having self confidence and loving yourself for who you are. Not letting someone define who you are or what your worth is.
