On the evening of August 3rd, McGrath Amphitheatre in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was ablaze with electric energy as Clutch rolled into town for their No Stars Above tour. Joined by the wonderful Red Fang and Dinosaur Jr., the night promised an unforgettable experience for rock enthusiasts. Both groups warmed up the crowd with their unique styles, setting the stage for Clutch to take it to another level.
As Clutch frontman Neil Fallon stepped onto the stage, his infectious energy quickly spread like wildfire through the crowd. The audience was immediately drawn in, fueled by his charisma and enthusiasm. From the very first song, it was evident that this night was going to be one for the books.
Playing a staggering 17 songs, Clutch demonstrated their musical prowess and stage presence, leaving no doubt that they are masters of their craft. Each song was delivered with passion, precision, and an unwavering commitment to their fans, who responded with roaring cheers and wild applause.
Despite the undeniable connection between the band and the audience, time slipped away faster than anyone wanted. Regrettably, the concert had to end without an encore due to the venue curfew. However, even without that final musical outpouring, it was clear that Clutch had already left an indelible mark on everyone present.
As the band continues their tour, fans across the United States can rest assured that they are in for a treat. If you have the opportunity, don't miss the chance to catch Clutch in action during the last leg of their tour, which runs through the end of August. You won't be disappointed.
