The Revolutions Live tour kicked off here in my home of St. Louis, MO. I couldn’t have been more thrilled to have been in the presence of such passionate musical craftsmen. Openers Spiritbox & Papa Roach had an undeniably positive energy about them Sunday night as they hyped up the crowd for the main event. Hands remained in the air with anticipation as the large screens slid open, revealing Shinedown's Eric Bass, Barry Kerch, Brent Smith, and Zach Myers. Hollywood Casino Amphitheater was near max capacity and you could absolutely hear it in the roar of the crowd. Opening track Diamond Eyes (Boom-Lay Boom-Lay Boom) had everybody singing along. The guys matched the energy of the audience throughout the entire performance. By the end of the show, no able bodied attendee remained in their seat. It was a fantastic performance and an incredible showcase of their new album Planet Zero.
Give it a listen and see why everybody’s raving. You won’t regret it.
