Mckenna Esteb -Live at Kilby Court
Sometime in August, Aly sent me a tiktok telling me to check out this artist for a magazine feature. When I clicked on the video i was more than pleasantly surprised at Mckenna’s overall vibe as a person, but talent as an artist. Hailing from Seattle, but finding her way to college in Boise, Idaho, Mckenna has dipped her talent in to multiple genre’s of music. Her sound, to me, is most of an indie sound, with a touch of pop. On September 3rd, I was blessed to see her, and her band, at Kilby Court for such a fun night.
The energy, music, and talent were all unmatched. I was genuinely dancing around as I worked! She also has a perfect stage presence when performing and interacting with the crowd. Even with most of the crowd not knowing of her, she had everyone drawn in and fully encapsulated in her set. I got the opportunity to meet her after the set as well, and she is beyond down to Earth. I will forever be a fan of her, and all her endeavors, and she is a smaller artist I highly recommend every sees if she’s ever in your city.
